Arin Whitmore
Rockford, IL
Arin Whitmore is set to bring a unique perspective to DEVIATE this year. With an eye for patterns in both nature and human activity, Arin blends analytical thinking with a deep sensitivity to detail.
At DEVIATE, Arin plans to showcase larger scale prints of drawings and invites guests to immerse themselves in the intricate explorations of nature, magnetic fields and other sources of inspiration. We can’t wait to check out Arin this year- be sure to grab your tickets and we’ll see you in downtown Beloit on September 28.
Tell us about you. I try to stay positive. I would consider myself to be analytical and sensitive to details. I enjoy observing and understanding patterns in nature and human activity, and how it relates and manifests itself through my life.
What inspires your art? Human activity, nature, and magnetic fields.
Knowing DEVIATE is an experiential, interactive art event, how do you envision participating and building your booth? I planned on making relatively large format prints of my drawings to show up on easels so that people could really get absorbed within them.
