Pico Blvd Entertainment(Daniel Pico)
Janesville, wi

While some kids played video games growing up, Daniel was busy mastering his directing skills. After directing his first movie at the ripe age of 8, a spark was lit, and a passion was ignited. He has since directed films that have won prestigious awards, and we’re thrilled to have him at DEVIATE this year. Currently, Daniel is in development on several feature and television projects.

Be sure to drop by his booth at DEVIATE for a chance to check out what he’s been working on and talk to him about his incredible career and the exciting things ahead for this Rock County native!

What inspires your art? As a writer and director, I am inspired by the possibility of humanity both in the positive and negative. We have the capacity for some much good but often we choose the other path, this struggle inspires much of my work.

Knowing DEVIATE is an experiential, interactive art event, how do you envision participating and building your booth? I envision a booth draped off like a tent so that those that would like to drop by can sit down and watch some of the work I’ve done reminiscent of the old Nickelodeon pop up tents of the early days of cinema except mine would have sound.
