IAN CURREY
Beloit, WI
If demons and horror are your jam, then look no further than Ian Currey. You can find Ian tattooing at Land of Inkin in Roscoe- his work is absolutely incredible. When he’s not creating amazing tattoos, he’s sculpting pieces of art that are unlike anything you’ve ever seen.
The amount of detail and passion he puts into his work is admirable and you’ll just have to see for yourself. But don’t worry, Ian plans on having an interactive sculpture at his booth so you can give it a shot if you’re brave enough! Be sure to check out Ian on September 28 in downtown Beloit!
Tell us about you.
I've been creating art most of my life. I started tattooing about 10 years ago and fell in love with it as a medium. I also really love sculpting.
What inspires your art?
Demons and horror.
Knowing DEVIATE is an experiential, interactive art event, how do you envision participating and building your booth?
I would have my sculptures displayed and tattoo portfolio. I would also bring started sculptures and clay so that I can have an interactive sculpture that people can add clay to.
