Kauchak Kreations (Andrew Kauchak)
Machesney park, IL

One thing we can all agree on is that fire is pretty damn cool. Andrew Kauchak thinks so too, which led him to the art of glass blowing. He got his start over a decade ago and continues to be inspired by the process. His work is incredible, and he’ll have unique, hand crafted objects and wearable art on display at this year’s DEVIATE.

He also plans on doing a live demo to give guests an up close and personal look into his process and the beauty of glassblowing. Be sure to check it out on September 28, we promise it’ll blow you away!

Tell us about you. I’ve been on the torch since 2011 specializing in glass jewelry, functional artwork, and cremation art.

What inspires your art? I'm just a glass blower who finds inspiration in the beauty of nature and the art of glassmaking. It's a creative and fulfilling craft that allows me to express myself.

Knowing DEVIATE is an experiential, interactive art event, how do you envision participating and building your booth? Like moths to a flame, people are naturally attracted to fire and pretty things. Live demos are a passion of mine, and to be able to show the skills in person.
