Tell us about you.
My work as a metal sculptor centers around repurposing discarded motorcycle parts and other scrap metal into unique and thought-provoking sculptures.
By reimagining these materials and giving them new life as art, I hope to challenge perceptions of what can be considered beautiful or valuable. Through my work, I seek to emphasize the beauty in imperfection and to showcase the potential for transformation and reinvention.
I believe that art has the power to bring people together and provoke dialogue, and I hope that my sculptures can serve as a bridge between the worlds of mechanical engineering and artistic expression. Ultimately, my goal is to create art that resonates with viewers on a visceral level and sparks a sense of wonder and curiosity about the possibilities of repurposed materials in the hands of a creative mind.
What inspires your art?
I am inspired by the raw power and energy of motorcycles, and I aim to capture that same dynamic spirit in my creations.
Knowing DEVIATE is an experiential, interactive art event, how do you envision participating and building your booth?
I will put up cool lighted 4-foot-tall robots and other amazing metal artwork. My pieces have sold in numerous galleries, and most recently Epic purchased two of my pieces for their campus.
